Gacha Club Edition is a free video game utility that lets you play a modified version of Gacha Club. Developed by RyoSnow, this 2D indie game is a mod of the hit casual game by Lunime and features various new items that you can use on your avatars.
Similar to Gacha Cute Mod, Gacha Club Edition simply unlocks new stuff rather than add new features and mechanics to the game. Fortunately, it doesn’t require an emulator to work. You don’t even need the original game installed to run it. However, users often have trouble downloading and installing it.
Is Gacha Club out on PC yet?
Also known previously as Gacha Life 2, Gacha Club is a 2020 casual character creator mobile video game developed by Lunime. It is the culmination of the developer’s previous games, combining elements from Gacha Life, Gacha World, and Gacha Resort for one huge package. Like the other games, it features a robust character creation system—letting you design and customize whatever scenes you come up with.
Its full version is available on mobile while the PC version is simply a demo. With Gacha Club Edition, however, you can play the full game on both platforms. Here, the game is easily accessible and lets you use various new items not found in the original version. From new clothes, hair, and backgrounds to new effects, mascots, and a new main menu interface, there’s a lot to appreciate here.
How to download and install
However, just like Gacha Cute Mod, the main issue here is how hard it can be to download and install. While it doesn’t require an emulator or the Gacha Club game on your device, some users find it tricky to get this mod on either of the supported platforms. The developer helpfully gave a simple tutorial on their YouTube channel but it’s still not a straightforward task at times.
You simply download the ZIP file containing the game. Using the appropriate program to open it—such as WinRAR or 7-Zip—you extract the game folder to a drive location of your choice. Afterward, open that folder and launch the EXE file “Gacha club Edition.” That will normally open the game without any actual installation wizard helping you. Take note that the download or launching of the application can still fail, though.
Needs an overhaul
All in all, Gacha Club Edition is a great little mod to try out if you want to unlock the full game on PC or just try out new items. While there are only additional objects to play with and no new features, this game still gives the full Gacha Club experience on its own. However, it could use some more tweaking and optimization with its stability and performance.
